Request Account & Data Deletion

If you'd like to delete your Venturoo account and all associated personal data, you can submit a deletion request using the steps below. This page explains what will be deleted, what might be retained (and why), and how long retention lasts.

Steps to Request Deletion

Sign in to verify ownership
Sign in to the email address or account you used with Venturoo to verify ownership of the account.
Submit deletion request
Send an email to: hello@venturoo.live
Verification step
We may ask you to confirm ownership (e.g., reply from the registered email address).
Processing
Once verified, we will begin deletion. You will receive confirmation when the process is complete.

What's Deleted

  • Profile information (name, username, email)
  • Matches, messages, and chat history
  • User-generated content (ideas, posts, interests)
  • Analytics tied directly to your user ID (excluding aggregated anonymized metrics)
  • Authentication credentials (tokens, sessions)

What May Be Retained and Why

Backup Copies

Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 30 days solely for recovery purposes; these are not actively used.

Transactional Logs

Certain minimal metadata (e.g., timestamps of account activity) may be retained for up to 90 days to prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Anonymized Analytics

Data stripped of personal identifiers may be kept indefinitely for product improvement; it cannot be tied back to you.

Retention Period Summary

  • Immediate deletion of primary data upon completion (with confirmation)
  • Backup remnants: up to 30 days
  • Limited metadata for abuse/legal purposes: up to 90 days
  • Anonymized analytics: indefinite and non-identifiable
